Travel Route Towards Mount Bromo

From Surabaya. To go to Mount Bromo from the direction of Pasuruan. From Surabaya we take a bus bound for Probolinggo and get off at Pasuruan which takes 1.5 hours. Then take public transportation to Tosari Village – Wonokitri. In Wonokitri we can spend the night in a hotel or homestay or can also continue the journey to Mount Pananjakan or enter the sea of sand to the top of Mount Bromo. If from Probolinggo, we take an angkot or bus to Sukapura, then we continue to Ngadisari.

From Ngadisari ride a horse or walk to Cemoro Lawang ± 3 km. In Cemoro Lawang we can spend the night in a hotel or homestay. Tomorrow morning we can continue our journey to the crater of Mount Bromo, which can be reached on foot or by riding a horse rented out by the local community.

From the direction of Malang we can pass Jemplang, Ngadas. From Malang, take a minibus to Overlapping (18 Km) for about 30 minutes.

From Overlapping, we continue our journey by taking a Jeep to Jemplang, about 1.5 hours drive, passing through Gubuk Klakah Village and Ngadas Village. Around the way, we can see the natural scenery in the form of residents’ gardens on mountain slopes and pristine natural forests.
